Located in picturesque countryside, the house was designed following the typical volume and layout principles of a traditional
Ukrainian house. The inner space of the house is divided into three parts. The middle part serves as a living room with a skylight,
a balcony, and a staircase leading to the attic floor. The living room is adjoined by a covered terrace overlooking the inner courtyard.
The left wing of the house accommodates an entrance door, a porch, a hall, a bathroom and a kitchen. The guest room is located
on the attic floor. The right wing houses a study and a master bedroom. Above it there is another guest room. Thus, all the private
spaces are located at a comfortable distance from each other, whereas the spacious living room acts as a place for communication.
Next to house there is a garage for two cars, with a pantry, a boiler room and a cellar. The garage opens into the street. Its
overhanging roof creates a sort of a gallery at the entrance, correlating with the porch which has been “taken out” from the
corner of the house. Together they form an integral composition.
